WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy

The World Health Organization (WHO) Traditional Medicine Strategy is a global plan to utilize the remedies from the traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) sectors within the current health systems. The mission of this strategy is to allow traditional medicine to be used safely, effectively, and fairly while at the same time respecting cultural heritage, scientific evidence, and public health priorities.
