Biography
For being M. Sc in Botany from Sardar Patel University in 2001, he was awarded Ph. D in Botany by Sardar Patel University in 2006. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in Botany, Department of Biosciences, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidhyanagar-388120, Gujarat. I published 51 research articles in State, National and International Journal. Attended and presented the research paper 27 national and international symposia/conferences. Completed one research project and one going on research project. 5 research scholars pursuing the Ph. D programme and 75 M. Sc dissertation students completed. He is Life member and Fellow of Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy (FIAAT), Indian Sciences Congress Association (ISCA), Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Association of India (MAPAI) And Fellow of Indian Society for Applied Biotechnology (FISAB). He has field experience more than 17 years for collections and identifications of medicinal plants. He is received the 6 awards from State, National and International recognition. He is working the area of ethnobotany, medicinal plants, biodiversity and secondary metabolites
